Washi-Tape Booklet
That’s what you need in material:
- Booklet
- White DIN A3 paper
- Scissors
- BLANCOL Glue stick
- Washi-Tape

1. To prevent the pattern of the booklet from shimmering through the Washi tape, the booklet must first be wrapped with white paper. It is best to take a normal A3 paper and stick it around the booklet. You will notice that the A3 paper doesn’t completely cover the booklet, but that doesn’t matter, since the Washi tape still comes over it and it doesn’t stand out on such a small area, if the booklet should shine through. But make sure there are no air bubbles under the paper – otherwise you can easily wipe them out with a ruler or geo-triangle.
2. Now you can start to glue the Washi-Tape around your bound booklet. I have chosen a slightly diagonal version. Make sure there is about 1 cm of Washi-Tape left at the edge, which you can simply fold down and glue on the inside. This guarantees you a better hold of the Washi-Tape. Repeat the wrapping with your different washi tapes until your entire booklet is covered.

3. When you’re done embedding your notebook, you can cut out a triangle or circle or any other funny pattern from paper with your favorite color and stick it on the front of the notebook to label it with your name and the subject. Another small whale sticker on my name tag and the booklet is ready.
