Picture frame lantern

Material required:

1. First remove the glass from the picture frame and carefully place it to the side. The picture frames can now be painted in any colour – with acrylic paint or with a spray. Allow to dry well.

2. The plywood is now cut into a triangular floor with a wood saw. The size can vary depending on the width of the picture frame. The exact shape and size can be drawn with a compass as an aid. Draw the width of the picture frame on the wooden board with a ruler and remove the same length from each end with the compass – where the two circles meet, is the tip of the triangle. If necessary, paint the cut triangle in the same colour as the picture frames.

3. As soon as the colour of the picture frame has dried, the glass can be replaced. Now glue the 3 picture frames together on the long side with the BLANCOL hot glue gun so that they form a triangle. Allow to dry well.

4. Finally, the floor can be glued onto the lantern sides.

As soon as everything is dried, the lantern can be decorated as desired and finished with a candle.
